So.
It’s been over two years since my last post, nearly three
since my last actual book review. This is partly because my reviews are long, and consume a lot of time that I often don’t have;
it is mainly because for the last year or two, I haven’t been reading books. I
haven’t stopped reading—in fact, I’ve probably been reading more—but I’ve been reading fanfiction instead. Which. I mean,
that’s not really something I can review on here. But anyways, I’ve started
reading books again, and I’m trying to balance my fanfiction with my books
because omg there is just so much stuff that I want to read.
So I’ve started reading books again and I’ve decided to
start blogging about them again, too. I’m not going to blog about all of them,
because I just don’t want to, and I also will probably change my format a bit,
since honestly I just don’t even remember the formula I used when constructing
my posts three years ago. This started out as something that would look good on college
apps and as something for me to write about in college essays, so it wasn’t
really for me, but now it’s going to be.
I’m going to change some stuff and do some stuff differently and generally just
shape my activity on this blog so that it’s something that I enjoy, that I do
for myself. Hopefully that will lead me to be more active on here.
Honestly the readership on this is so low that I doubt
anyone cares, but without further ado…
I’M BACK!
